2010-07-15 Saskatchewan collection continues to grow
In response to the increase in Saskatchewan exploration and drilling activity, Micotan has expanded its Hit List collections to include well completions and status changes.
2010-05-26 Saskatchewan production added to Whelby
Saskatchewan production data has been introduced to the Whelby Initial Production collection and complements data that was already available from British Columbia and Alberta.

2008-10-31 Micotan adds more data to U.S. Collections

Micotan continues to expand its Whelby Collections by adding Colorado, Gulf of Mexico and Louisiana to its New Well Permits collections.  This will provide greater coverage of the lower U.S. basins.

2006-01-07 Whelby expands into the U.S. marketplace
Micotan announced today that it has expanded its Whelby Collection to include Texas, U.S.  This is the first collection outside of Western Canada to be offered as part of the Whelby Hit Lists and will give Micotan the opportunity to expand into the U.S. market.

Micotan announced today that it has released the latest product in its Whelby product line called Spudables Web App.  This web-based application is designed using today's latest mapping technologies and Whelby's New Well License Hit List Collection allowing the user to find new well licenses that have not yet been spudded.

The new SAGD (Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage) collection is now available from Whelby Data Services.  This new collection groups Oil Sands injectors and producers in a single report and also includes survey plans.
