Rig Scheduler
Introduction
Rig Schedule Rig scheduling is not done in isolation.  In order to make informed decisions, information is required from many disciplines within the organization. Generwell's rig scheduler module provides a flexible interface that is customized to your needs.  Defining and customizing the job schedules can be done by Micotan or your system administrator.
Multiple Schedules
Generwell's Rig Scheduling module is not limited to drilling operations, it can also manage service rigs and rigless operations.  Any number of schedules can be created, generally based on operation type and/or geographic area.
Eliminate Spreadsheets
Manage Rig Schedule Managing a rig schedule with a spreadsheet can be a frustrating experience.  Moving rows and columns as a result of schedule changes can often lead to formula errors and dropped links.  The problems are compounded when the spreadsheet is shared among multiple users.  The Rig Scheduling module provides the look-and-feel of a spreadsheet without the headaches.
Scheduling Basics
Oil & Gas Well Rig Schedule

The purpose of a Generwell schedule is to align jobs with resources (rigs), estimate job durations and prioritize the order of operations.  Job types are client defined, but examples may include drilling, completions, workovers and abandonments.

When it comes to meetings and presentations, report the schedule in a Gantt Chart to see a visual representation of each job's current state.

The schedule is presented in a familiar spreadsheet style format, one job per row and as many data columns as required.  In addition to the basic columns, each schedule may contain any number of custom data elements, allowing you to include all the data you need to make informed scheduling decisions.

Schedule Management
Jobs are arranged by resource (rig) and priority.  Each job has an estimated duration and any anticipated down time.  To change the resource or priority, simply drag-and-drop the job to a new position and the estimated start and finish dates will automatically recalculate.
